Finding Them a Home

Art Quilt by Heather Hingst Bennett

“Color Story No. 5″, 12″x12” (approx), hand-dyed cotton fabric by artist, cotton batting ©2010 – 2012 Heather Hingst Bennett

I’m getting out my sewing machine in the next few days to tackle a fitted slipcover project. (I’ll share a little more later.) When I get my sewing machine out I start to think of my art quilts. I start to think of making art quilts and how I think they could get me into a local gallery. How I know people are interested in learning how to dye fabric and improvisational piece. All the things I really, really want to happen…art in gallery, teach classes, etc.

So, I have decided to put together a little portfolio site and see what happens.

Stop by later for One Dollar Wednesday!
